High Security Perimeter Protection
Electro-Fence™ is a UK manufactured product from Advanced Perimeter Systems Ltd and featuring state-of-the-art technology that sets it apart from other security fences. High tensile wires are spaced at a distance of 95mm apart and a safe, high voltage pulse is sent down alternate wires every second. When an intruder comes into contact with the high tensile wires, they suffer a short, sharp electric shock that serves to deter climbing or cutting.
Security is enhanced further thanks to the presence of a continuous controller that monitors the electric fence for different types of attack when pre-programmed conditions are met.
All Electro-Fence™ controllers are manufactured to exceed European standards and maintain an impeccable safety record. These standards include EN61011; EN61011/1 and EN61011/2. Pulse durations are less than one thousandth of a second in duration.
Electro-Fence™ can be used as a standalone fence or attached to an existing perimeter. It is easy to operate and can readily interact with other standard security equipment.
In addition to the high voltage security properties of Electro-Fence™, the use of highly visible yellow warning signs is typically sufficient to act as an initial deterrent in most instances.
